THE GENESIS OF THE CREATION OF THE GALLERY
The answer to the question when the "JAŚNIKOWSKI" Art Gallery was established seems simple - April, 2023. But delving into the minds of the two Jaśnikowskis, we can find the seeds of this project much earlier. You could ask, which two Jaśnikowskis are we talking about? Those who know us in the artistic circle know it well. But let me explain to the uninitiated. They are Jarosław and Radosław, brothers. Jarosław is an outstanding Polish artist in the Magic Realism and Steampunk trend, his artworks are sought after by collectors, auction houses and art galleries. Radosław does not have such artistic talent, but he loves art, loves to promote it, loves to be part of this artistic world. He is so amorous ... And from time to time he creates projects that fit into his artistic world. It started with the "LUX ARTIS" Art Publishing House, which entered the niche of reproduction on the Polish art market, creating very high quality incographs and giclees, publishing very successful artistic calendars and offering painting albums. However, during the frequent conversations of the two brothers, different ideas, more or less realistic, were born in their minds. One of them was the visualization of the idea of an art gallery, which will be based on numerous contacts and acquaintances with artists from the broadly understood surrealist trend. Such a gallery was to be created in a few years, stationary and online, although Radosław was already persuaded to set up an online one by colleagues from another galleries.
And suddenly, like a thunderbolt, there was a proposal of cooperation with the Copper Museum in Legnica, support for the exhibition "In the World of Magic Realism - Art'PAIRinternational Artists" and the opportunity to include all artworks from this Exhibition, sponsored by the LUX ARTIS Art Publishing House. And in order not to throw original works into the same bag with reproductions, the vision of creating an Art Gallery began to take shape, until Radosław decided: I'm getting into this project! The brandbook was developed by a great graphic designer Dorota Bryja-Wiśniewska, who collaborated with Lux Artis on other projects, a website was created by M&M WEB DESIGN, cooperation with great artists of the Art'PAIRinternational group was strengthened, and their artworks from the exhibition are exclusively offered by the JAŚNIKOWSKI Art Gallery. In addition, he constantly collaborates with his brother, Jarosław Jaśnikowski and the Master of Pastel - Adam Widełka. All this gave a great impulse to start the activity of an art gallery. And what will it be like, what was the vision of creating and implementing this art gallery? It must definitely stand out from other art galleries, it must certainly have great artists in its offer, mainly from the Magical Realism and less magical, but equally beautiful one trends. Certainly, it is to promote good art and artists invited to the project called Galeria Sztuki JAŚNIKOWSKI. And why such a name? Certainly as a tribute to Jarosław and as a thank you for all the good received. Certainly because Radosław is also Jaśnikowski. Certainly also because Radosław's son is already thinking of helping his Dad, and in time maybe he will inherit it all. Certainly also because Jaśnikowski is a recognized brand on the art market, so there is no brand building element, although it needs to be cared for and developed. We invite you to the JAŚNIKOWSKI Art Gallery!!!! Here, the beauty of the Artists' works with the positive disposition of the owner and his passion for art, as well as the spiritual (and sometimes substantive) patronage of Jarosław, creates an amazing artistic mix that will satisfy art experts and collectors.
