Professional background:
Graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Lyon in 1992 (DNSEP). Graduated from the Faculty of Art History and Archaeology, Lyon II, in 1994 (DEUG, Licence, Maîtrise, DEA). Illustration work for Ravensburger, Gallimard Jeunesse, Bayard Presse and Infogrames. Drawing and painting teacher in private and associative establishments.
Artistic approach:
Painting is a reason to be, a reason to live and to apprehend the universe at a scale perceptible to the human eye. His painting is situated on the borders of archaeology and architecture, exploring the aberrant territories of Impossible Figures. Frequent in his compositions, they symbolize the deceptive reality of the world from a mathematical (geometric perspective), physical (quantum) or religious point of view.
